Vita and her tour guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. We were without a tour because everything was booked and she came along. We had such a wonderful day.

Orkney for us was rainy, windy and cold (just bad timing), but we were able to book a tour with Orkney Tours and it was a great time. Our tour guide (Vita) was very knowledgeable, very friendly (as was our driver) and was very willing to adapt the schedule to suit the interests of the group. The company is relatively new on the scene but the guides are experienced. The 6 hours allowed us to see the main sites on Mainland Orkney that we wanted to see and weren't competing as much with the cruise ships. Highly recommend this company.

Our tour of the island was really interesting, informative and enjoyable. Vita, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and imparted her own enthusiasm, especially for the Neolithic sites, very, very well. The tour was thoughtfully organised enabling us to visit a variety of Orkney highlights in the six hours of the tour - timings at each of the various stops were just right, as was the level of detail provided. Many thanks, Gwen and John Coates

This 7 hour tour was wonderful. Our guide Rhoda was so knowledgable about the history of the Orkneys and our driver Brian would also chime in with some with some witty contributions. We learned so much that we would otherwise not have explained or described. Most probably we would not not even have even visited some of the places we visited on this tour, and to not have the hassle of trying to fight with the gps or google maps (with limited connectivity on the island) has probably added years to my marriage!
